A Parasol for the Queen Victoria Diamond Jubelee 1897

This is a parasol of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897.

Large numbers of small different gadgets were sold as souvenirs in this event and most likely this is the only one parasol left.

The porcelain handle depicting on one side a portrait of Queen Victoria when she came to the throne in 1837, aged eighteen

on the other side an image of her in her jubilee year

A small object of beauty in perfect conditions.

Below the handle is printed the stamp of the royal house

Truly a unique object!
